Music is scientifically proven to positively affect productivity and mental health. In a collaborative music-based activity, a team will rediscover 5 key traits for the workplace. Option of 1-Day or 3-Day Program.
Leadership isn't just the responsibility of one person. Learn how music performance in a group uncovers leaders of different abilities. Even within one song, the roles of leadership can change.
Teamwork is best demonstrated when vocalists are in harmony and the band is in sync. Like an audience, the rest of the company can tell when a management team is working in sync.
Discipline is almost a natural result of a team that is driven by the same goal and passion. Music performance brings this out of each participant.
Creativity is about discovering different styles of performance and how each person can bring a unique expression to their individual parts.
Music is an inclusive activity that promotes psychological safety. The enjoyment of performing together also creates greater empathy.
From C-Suites to senior managers and even inter-department teams are encouraged to attend. If your company is hosting teams from regional offices, we can even conduct a Battle of The Bands style competition between the vocal/band groups representing each office.
The number of songs and choreography. The 1-Day program will cover one song and basic choreography while the 3-Day program will cover up to 3 songs and more advanced choreography. The theory section, the first half of day 1, is the same for both.
We discuss the psychology behind the effect of sound on the human experience, the impact music has on people and behaviours that are relevant in a corporate setting like leadership, teamwork, discipline, creativity and empathy.
During the preparation for a song, participants will discover through the experiential activity how each trait comes into play. Music creates a collaborative instead of a competitive environment. Most importantly, the best way to learn about serious topics is to have lots of fun doing it. The team behind this program are successful entrepreneurs who have attended, and conducted, many team building programs.
If you can't play an instrument, you can still join as a vocal group. Even for those considered to be 'tone deaf', our vocal coaches can help participants develop hearing techniques that will help them perform on key.
Participants can repeat the program by selecting more challenging songs for the group to perform. Unlike typical team building activities where after you do it once, you'll unlikely do it again, music will always have new material to keep a repeat experience fresh and engaging.
Yes. Ask us how!
Entrepreneurs, professionals & mothers... That's how they started out. Within a session, our coaches turned these karaoke enthusiasts into singers doing harmony with simple steps.
