MASTERCLASS MUSIC FESTIVAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Refunds, Transfers, and Resale

All Sales Final: Tickets are universally non-refundable unless the entire festival is canceled. Partial cancellations (like a weather or a delayed gate opening) rarely qualify for a refund.
Force Majeure: Organizers protect themselves from issuing refunds if the event is disrupted by acts of God or events beyond their control, such as extreme weather, natural disasters, or sudden government health mandates.
Strict Resale Bans: To combat scalping, organizers prohibit reselling tickets above face value. T&Cs explicitly state that tickets purchased from unauthorized secondary platforms are void and will not be honored at the gate.
Commercial Use Ban: Attendees cannot use their tickets for giveaways, sweepstakes, or promotional contests without the organizer's written permission.

Lineup Subject to Change: This is a crucial and universal clause. The promoter reserves the right to alter the schedule, substitute artists, or change set times without prior notice or obligation to offer refunds. (A festival is sold as an overall experience, not a guarantee of specific performers).
Venue Modifications: Organizers retain the right to change the venue layout, restrict access to certain stages due to capacity limits, or provide alternative seating of equal value.

Right of Refusal and Ejection: Management reserves the right to deny entry or remove anyone from the grounds without a refund if they violate the code of conduct, appear heavily intoxicated, or pose a safety risk to others.
Search and Confiscation: By scanning their ticket at the gates, attendees consent to bag checks and physical searches. Prohibited items — typically weapons, outside food and alcohol, illegal drugs, and professional recording equipment — can be confiscated and not returned.
Age and ID Verification: Clear stipulations on minimum age requirements and the necessity of valid, physical, government-issued ID for entry or alcohol purchases.

Assumption of Risk: Attendees legally assume all risks associated with the event — from hearing damage and crowd surges to illnesses and tripped cables — and release the organizer, venue, and artists from liability for personal injury or lost property.
Crowd Release (Media Consent): By attending, ticket holders grant the festival the right to capture and use their image, voice, and likeness in future promotional videos, photos, and live broadcasts without any compensation or approval.
Recording Ban: Unauthorized professional photography, video, and audio recording by attendees are strictly prohibited to protect the artists' intellectual property and the festival's media rights.
